"In fact, experts say there could be many such land mines ............that could cause failures for days, weeks or months after the new year." We've heard so many times in the past where * knowledgeable* sources have quipped about just staying out of elevators or not flying on new year's day. The propsect of various problems not showing up for months afterwards is sobering, imho.
