Radicalism, Violence or Activism
It isn't political activism that is being shut down, it is violence and radicalism Parler's problems were just that, members espousing violence and no one at the site taking action. The people who were at the Capitol were not practicing political activism they were violent and radical. At issue is a very fundamental matter, due process. Every one of those people who decided that they were going to go to the Capitol were identical. Collectively they are nothing more than terrorists, domestic, but still terrorists, rejecting due process. Joe Biden'e election was the result of a process that is hundreds of years long, it is not a bar fight. The resulting legal challenges were all dismissed and every state certified it's results. There is a large group of people who reject this due process and want to substitute violence instead. Do I care if you accept this, certainly, due process is about just that, but you may not accept due process.. You may offer your usual lukewarm dishwater that attempts to justify the unjustifiable. It is not cancel culture cancelling activism, the Capitol insurrection was terrorists rejecting due process.
The words that come out of a persons mouth have to be accepted at face value. People are not debating ,they are rejecting the results of the election and the courts, rejecting due process. It is American courts of law, it is the American election process, it is America. Americans who reject the due process that is America are terrorists. When someone says they do not accept the election results, they are rejecting due process. It is all over, it is done, deciding then that you are going to go get violent is terrorism. All those service and sites are beside the point, that can be worked out. What cannot be fixed is the mindset of those who reject America, reject due process, reject the law. There is no place for those people except in prison, where many will end up. I have see sentences may be as high as 20 years for some of those who are convicted. Treason and sedition charges are being examined for some, they are criminals, plain and simple. I know you don't think so but what do you do with people who simply reject due process? What do you do with people who refuse to accept the decisions of the American courts or elections?
