These days common sense is not enough. This breathability report is important if for no other reason than it addresses the ridiculous claim of anti-maskers that masks restrict breathing and oxygen flow. Maybe this was the last bit of info HC was waiting for?

Not true, so you are not displaying "common sense".

Any mask does restrict, air flow to a certain degree. It naturally interferes with natural air flow because you are blocking your own access to air through a permeable fabric, but the fabric offers resistance. The more layers of fabric, the greater the restriction.
What the NR stated was that the addition of the INK did not change that restriction, whatever the restriction naturally is......but there is always a restriction because you are breathing through a fabric.

Lastly, application of INK to the regular "blue disposable mask" which most of us wear would not be 99.9% effective. So thats not what we are talking about here. The mask to be 99.9% effective has to seal against the face and are the most restrictive of all masks.
I have worn, fabric filters in a full face mask to spray paint. No one can say that this type of mask is not restrictive. It intereferes with "air volume". So if you are in a mask for a long period of time you feel like you are having to exert more to get the same volume. I do not believe it interferes with oxygen, but the longer you wear a mask especially if exerting yourself the more you feel it restricts "volume". Again, referring to sealed masks to the face.

PS I wear a mask all the time when outside my home.
