I didn't add the second part of its newest lockdown. It'll last a few days - literally.
It lasts quite a while, like on the order of a few weeks. I have a few friends who live and/or work there.

China shuts down an entire city, tests everyone, breaks out the contact tracing, and does everything it can to "nuke" the virus.

We can't even do that here in the People's Republic of California, the state that is closest to your model of an ideal communism.

Meanwhile, China cannot innovate worth a crap. Have you seen the latest news on their vaccine? It's only 50% effective, according to Brazilian scientists. That's a lot lower than the original estimate of 79%, and far lower than the 95% that Pfizer and Moderna have shown.

You think the Chinese scientists who developed the vaccine were free to tell us the truth?
