LOL Reagan FED USSR because they were so far ahead of us? You know Reagan wanted to spend a fortune on weapons which means he thought we were far behind the USSR. He said so in speech after speech, [ No, he didn't ] but now you've created your own reality in which he wanted to bring it down e*ven though he fed the Soviet Union.* Carter tried to starve the Soviet Union. Reagan fed them. Carter embargoed grain sales to the USSR which had begun years earlier. RR lifted the embargo.
