If you are an American then you have to choose what happened, at the Capitol.
You don't have to decide, that is on the record.
A group attacked the nation's Capitol buildings, Capitol police officers protecting the Capitol were killed.
The group was attacking because they reject the results of the American election and American courts.
Despite a reassurance of fairness from the Dept. of Justice and Homeland Security, they reject the results.
There were legal challenges to the results, many courts heard many cases, they reject all those verdicts.
So this group of people who reject law and order attacked the capitol at the behest of a habitual liar.
A habitual liar with a history of lying and adultery spanning decades, a "John Barron" character, .
The why doesn't matter at all, America voted, American courts have ruled, that was all rejected.
The Libertarian Party is clear, these people not protesters, not patriots.
What remedy can be offered to a group of cultists who reject American elections and reject law and order.
I know that many Americans are bewildered, this was not supposed to happen, but it has, here you are.
If you are a Republican who cheered on Republican victories under President Trump, that is over.
The election was not fraudulent, this wasn't protest, it wasn't activism, it was criminal.
And if the criminals persist, they will be deemed terrorist organizations.
Canada is already considering deeming the Proud Boys as terrorists for their role in the attack.
America didn't give up her flag to a bunch of cultists, those are not patriots or protestors.
They reject American courts, they reject due process, they reject elections.
They embrace violence and instigated an attack on the nation that killed it defender's.
This makes them dangerous and unstable people, there is no way around that conclusion.
What they have done previously does not matter, it has no bearing on their current stance.
The nation decided, it did so in the way it was supposed to do so, the American process, elections, trials.
Men and women from every walk of life volunteered, counted, correlated and reviewed results.
Courts from local all the way to the Supreme Court listened to every argument and decided.
Trials and elections have losers and winners, reject that and that you are favouring criminality.
There is no where to take it, the American process ended with a clear outcome
So read it again as an American and a Libertarian instead of a mindless reflexive automaton.
The Libertarian position : “This is not patriotism. This is not protesting. This is reprehensible
violence and aggression and needs to stop now. We hope safety for all those who work in the Capitol.” |
