That's what gives me pause. Basically, my entire approach consists of trying to find risky stocks where I can use research and experience to reduce the risk, giving me an edge over those without the knowledge and experience. But there is no way to change the odds on a coin flip, assuming it is done honestly. My entire gambling experience consists of playing poker a half dozen times. Even though I won money every time, I quit playing because I do not enjoy the experience of gambling, sitting there waiting for the cards to decide my fate. After that I stuck to winning money playing bridge and chess, where skill is the only thing that counts. Oh, and once I put a quarter in slot machine during a flight change in Reno just to see what it was like. Suffice it to say I never found any reason to repeat this experience. LC
