Vet said to me once.. look at the leg muscles.. this is a 90 pound dog packed into a 40-45 pound body ..

My two were from same litter.. second was a rescue though :( .. Mine were on the large size despite both female.. 43-44 pounds .. Only dog that gave them pause for a split second was an Akita pair.. but that was only a split second.. I hated folks with their BIG dogs off leash .. Oh he/she`s friendly .. MINE ARE NOT !! .. Not to mention some folks are terrified !!! Could have a heart attack dumbass !! Stupid irresponsible owners'.. Mine loved the water and snow., had them hitched in tandem pulling my son in winter through the Rouge conservation area Toronto.. NEVER want to see doggies fighting .. Dumbass owners

Looking for a new companion but might go with a standard poodle.. same smart level .. love water and snow.. but better with other doggies..

sigh .. MY heelers were so beautiful
