I really sympathize Neeka ,, My littlest sis in Cali had a ridgeback rescue .. such a sweet doggie..

I loved my Heelers .. but I KNEW the issues.. off leash meant EXTREME VIGILANCE.. Hence I am leaning to a larger poodle rescue next go .. all the attributes and just nicer LOl

There was another owner in my hood of two heelers.. one was almost blind and no doggies bothered her.. but Sammy her partner was BITCH LOl MY Teeka was overly dominant.. My Kayley was OK with other doggies..

So in a park one night Sammy went after my Tika.. (Maybe it was reverse) BUT BOTH wanted dominance..

I grabbed both by the scruff/neck and pulled then apart.. I was NOT gentle and more than a bit afraid.. LOL .. I was dominant.. the BIG DOG.. Had to be done. Sammy's owner says to me wow .. you got in the way .. well if you own that kind of dog and cannot.. do not own them .. DOH !
