Report: 2 National Guard Members removed from Biden inauguration security for ties to ‘fringe right group’ Jennie Taer Two members of the National Guard were removed from the security efforts in Washington, D.C. Tuesday over ties to fringe right-wing groups, according to the Associated Press. According to the report, there was no plot found. Earlier this week, the FBI began vetting members of the Guard amid suspicion of an insider attack.
