john, thank you for interjecting some reality on this message board. i thought that 13k people making flat panel displays, microstamp and the other small things mu does - the tail - was a little bit on the high side. maybe by 12,500 people ;-)

of course the 13k may include muei, but their contribution was essentially nil to earnings so those employees get excluded as sucking money away from mu's current gold mining of dram ;-)
