Short term, the DEC acquisition should benifit SUN as we get the business from those that believe CPQ will not continue the Unix business. Long term, this creates a major push towards the NT side. (assuming that CPQ/DEC phases out Unix, Open VMS, and Alpha and focus on the NT products). I am seeing less and less reasons to hold on to the stock. I just can't see JAVA revenues continuing the growth that SUN has been known to keep. It does seem, as one article posted on this thread, that Scott is painting himself into a corner. Any other opinions?
