Snowshoe be a bit more innovative times have changed I did not suggest something like the "Cultural Revolution" in China or the gulags in Russia and other East European countries.

Re-education can be done with soft gloves with community gathering, with initiative to help your neighbor in need care for the elderly in your community, keep them socially engaged let them tell your their life stories how they build America and so many more community activities in a positive way

Outright brainwashing will gain you nothing only opposition.
