Well, I said to someone (likely to Mahone) that America's Rump was going to get his clock cleaned. And it happened, despite all the lying, cheating, manipulation, smashing and near decimation of the USPS and potential killings. That was the last time I was on this site. :) Several months ago. Today is a good day to be back in the world.
I dislike politics, whataboutism and people who run about carrying other people's flags after religious conversions, particularly where religion never existed in the first place. I have no explanation for why otherwise seemingly reasonable people believe their fiction.
Most of all ..... after 30-40 years of having to evaluate people over longer time frames in my line of work, and having a little more intuition than the next guy, all I need is a few minutes to an hour, a context and the ability to pay attention to understand that pretend stewardship of a nation (or, in fact, just anything) and pure self-interest are incompatible. Nothing can survive in that Hell.
If one can't see pure self-interest and all it entails staring one in the face, then there is little one can see.
It is done. And I am glad. No more arguments.
