Comments from "per Spec tives" weekly news letter dated Jan 30/98. Alberta Active Issues Montello (MEO) montello.com Montello ran into problems with there first drill hole. Apparently the drill was going into marsh which caused the core to slip out of the drill before it could be pulled. Perhaps the warmer than normal weather has the ground a bit softer than was expected. Anyway, the company has started their second drill and should have results from an independent lab inside of two weeks. Expect the stock to move in anticipation of results. MEO and their partner RDW should provide the most excitement near term among the diamond players. We expect the stock up next week.
