meanwhile let us see whether any street kinetics break out on the peninsula across from my island scmp.com We live in this below neighbourhood, with one loop-road having both ends leading to business district about 30 min away by motoring across the big Victoria mountain. Should 'they' wish to seal us in can easily do so, but there is a Blake's Pier in Stanley fishing village nearby affording opportunity to escape by boat should one be inclined. Where to escape to, is the detail. Our garden furniture shall arrive in the coming week and am intending to work mostly from home (to office one day per week) until all-clear signal or until when my friend / office landlord gets back from Koh Samui where he has been ensconced accidentally since February of last year. I hope but am sceptical that vaccines would return societies to 'normal', and I am usually an optimist. I am optimistic that vaccines shall do something. I just do not know what that 'something' entails. The nearby beach by 5 min walk has been roped-off for 30+ days already, albeit one can easily jump the ropes just to walk and know the sand is still there, but use of the picnic / BBQ facilities are now illegal. The large sunbathing buoy in the middle of the bay marked off by the shark netting is stored on land, and the very nice lifeguarding girl is not around, paid by the government to stay home. All very much bummers but I do not complain, for have nothing to complain about.
