It was only a guess that lithium is a nutrient. There must be some PhD studies on lithium processes in people. Goes into stomach, then what? The chemical pathways it takes should have been tracked by now. If it takes up residence in neurotransmitters or cell wall tougheners, or T cell killers, or wherever, then it might be an essential ingredient. Maybe I should ask duckduck Mqurice
