Interesting, But he mentioned High 8, that is not a digital camera. I own a Sony High8. High 8 is the top of the line in the 8mm series. Then you have digital, which is better. How much recording time could they put on a ZIP? If they are not using digital recording, can they compress the data? Why would Sony use a ZIP when they have their own MINI DISK?
