I think the issue is you still move up revenue when margins are growing drastically in compaq's case. of course I know the prodcuts of the future and I see leading edge technology margins growing even more. in fact for the next 2 yrs compaq will get to sock it to us. We'll be hanging all cost and going full speed ahead.. y2k and the massive race to go from mini and mainframe to super server and clients with relational databases... cost are not even a concern...we'll negoiate long distance and internet and local phone service down enough to not worry about technology capital. I all have long distance down to 5.5 cents.. and I'm a small player.
