So far SCOTUS had an opportunity to rule on the emoluments clause. Trump broke the law the very first day he was in office. Over four years later SCOTUS ruled the cases are moot. Why did they wait until after he lost the election? Because they're corrupt. Defending the Constitution isn't one of their mandates under Roberts. Their only mandate is to protect the criminals republicans vote for.
