i always wonder how there was so much trading in macerich where it was all coming from . i can only conclude that there are some very deep pocket day and algorithm traders around. my last recollection was that 92% of the shares were held by institutional investors so the float must be small relative to 18 million shares traded daily. if macerich gets to 240 i will be out and having some tropical alcoholic beverage on a resort beach somewhere.
