Law has many of the same problems as economics (why are there so few billionaire economists ?- if they understood economics so well, they'd be rock-star investors). The arguments are well crafted in both law and economics, but often are factually unverifiable opinions that change radically over time, in ways that are cumulatively illogical. These rulings end up being a house of cards that are mutually supporting given the acceptance of some propositions which seem rarely logically or physically provable.

How can one be secure in their person, if they are made to warehouse a fetus from inception? Equal protection should have some sway, right? No man is forced to have an implant of cells that came about through no fault of their ownw - e.g. cancer - that they have to house and protect.

How can police take assets that they have not proved in a court of law were unlawfully obtained? Both (to me) seem to be major 4th Amendment issues. Jurists who are old men have an easy time assigning equivalent rights to ball of cells as they do a fully formed adult person. As for the assets of forfiture, we know money talks.
