Because of our tech, everything happens faster now, so, I might live to see it! Do you consider that good news or bad news? In grad school, I think it was, I had to read World Dynamics by Jay Forrester. According to the model in that book, the world was supposed to end in 2032, IIRC. I clearly recall being disappointed at probably not living long enough to see it. Hated to miss anything. But now that it looks like I might well make it that long, and having been living of late in "interesting times," I'm not sure I feel the same.
