John, I have been watching the Republican supreme court for the last 50 years work as knee jerk displays of their political party. How else do you explain the multitude of 5/4 splits of the last 50 years. We both know most of those decision by the Democrats were solid law, so what were the Republicans jurists doing voting against them, constantly. The Republicans on the supreme court have been unabashedly involved in blatant partisan politics in their decisions time and again. And they are a bunch of scumbags in my book :)>! IMO <, If you want to believe judges are only knee jerk displays of their political party, there's nothing I can do about that. I'm only warning you that the world and this issue are seriously more complicated, many more shades of gray, than you expect.
