Some of the past regs were designed to prevent that level of shorting. I said said my sympathies lay with the Crowd Traders. I am not opining on the righteousness of it. Market manipulation is not a good thing no matter who does it. However, it does create opportunities for us ling term investors. My friend that manages billions despises the market manipulators. She is a LT investor but says these things erode confidence in the markets especially my new investors.
