The bigger question is When will the general public allow someone to come into their neighborhood and dig up the copper? Your concept is VERY EXPENSIVE.....The only way for the "true" digital revolution to occur though in the U.S. One concept that is easily applicable is Apartment complexes....Run fiber into the complex and connect everyone to the network.....Now that is the complex of the next generation....
