Yes, as HB said this may wind up affecting the whole investment universe.

I think we are in a bubble. We have had a few flash crashes caused by automated buying / selling / hedging. The market bounced back but the question is should it? You can blame a potential crash on these Reddit guys but they may just be the catalyst. The fundamental market issues are there. It also may such a lot of money out of the market. The people who invest in hedge Funds tend to be wealthy and high net worth. I doubt many of them "hedged" their hedge fund position. I would guess the luxury markets may not be doing so well/ Want to buy a cheap yacht?
