interesting question, you asked, because i wondered the same thing, and this is what topcat responded, on stockhouse, if your out there topcat thanks so much, i trust your work

Doug, you asked about where the price might go.... in this market, you guess is as good as mine... here are my thoughts... there sure was a lot of heavy bidding and buying before the halt... but there was also a lot of quick selling... almost as though someone was holding the stock down for fear of getting their _____ squeezed... and as I expected, someone complained to the VSE which resulted in a Halt... I am not sure what the declared and undeclared short postion is (but there has not been enough volume in this level for everyone that was short to cover yet....!!!).... I think the retraction and new Release of STS's Congo properties was accurate or the exchange would not have let them print it... this means that there are extensive old mines in this area with proven gold showings (which I might add are very high)... this is a wait and see game... STS is heading to the site and drilling will commence (according to the company).. if they hit either gold or diamonds which proves the old reports, this definately has the potential for a huge gold find (and not like Bre-X because all the indicator rocks are present and quality control procedures are in place for assessment)... also considerable the large amount of surface gold that has been removed from these sites (we are not just talking a couple of oz but truely large amounts and they used old and primitive technologies and processes)... so back to price... warrants (at $0.48 I think) and several financings above here.... I assume little resistence until at least the warrant price (most people who own shares will want to see what develops before making a decision to sell).... Global Securities and the $300,000 and $50 million $ law suit presents some problems, but again, they don't want to sell what is on their books at these cheap prices if in deed there is a major find here and they can make much more... so, I am hoping that little resistence will occur before $0.50 to $0.60 range... if the price does run up it will give lots of people a chance to get out and also give a lot of people a chance to re-postion so that when they report the finding from the Congo and if it is a major find then the price has a good chance of making a significant run....
