Oh please. He spent months whipping people up about it. All the while, there were people openly planning the assault on the Capitol Building. Plans he knew about. Otherwise, why did he have set up that viewing center with monitors and TV cameras to cover the assault? Where he watched the events and celebrated.

The Capitol Police didn't murder that woman. She and her cohort had broken into a secured center. Despite warnings, she climbed through a window with a backpack on. What did you think was supposed to happen? The police high five her? I thought people were supposed to instantly comply with police orders to avoid being shot...

I suppose it depends on your definition of serious crime. I guess breaking and entering doesn't count. How about bashing a cop's brains out with a fire extinguisher? Or stabbing cops with various objects? Or bashing them over their heads with pipes and other implements? Or pulling that one cop down the stairs and beating him with a flag pole? Or the one crushed in the doorway? Or...

Not to mention the thefts.

So what is your definition of "serious crimes"? Getting a blow job from an intern?
