Doug, the highway (express way or whatever you call it) from Shanghai to Nanjing has speed limit of 120 km for small cars and a lower limit for trucks and buses (think it is 90km, but forgot). It is a 4 hour drive and a very pleasant ride indeed. There are nice refill stations with refreshments etc., on the way. Toll is about rmb 110 all the way.
Good driving hehaviors on this road as the hight patrol will be there if you dont hehave, so be careful when you have a chance to do that. I heard that other hew highways are built to international standard and adopt similar controls.

Am watching the Hang Seng shooting up with high speed as I tyoe, and for sure there is no need for any speed limit on this one!
