Taylor: Re: Month end selling pressure...

A lot of brokers will let an individuals account ride in "overdraft" during the course of a month... The account, if it is in overdraft must be settled prior to month end, so that a "debit balance" does not show up on yours and the brokers statements...

What happens is that individuals who may get overloaded on some stocks, are forced to sell their positions at the end of the month, in order to get "credit balances" in their accounts, thus creating month end selling pressure on some stocks... The reverse may happen at the beginning of a month as some stocks may begin to surge during the first few days of trading...

ie: watch tk/vse in the morning... That one I know is loaded up with flippers looking for .02 or .03 spreads...
