Capt. Sir Thomas Moore, who gained fame for raising more than $40 million for Britain’s National Health Service, dies at 100

Moore had been diagnosed with pneumonia and tested positive for the coronavirus last week. The centenarian raised funds for the NHS by repeatedly walking the length of his garden during the nationwide lockdown last year.
