every kid who had a truck had a gun rack with two or three rifles in the parking lot of the school.


I grew up in a small town in southern IL which probably wasn't much different than one in AR. Yes, gun ownership was common, high school kids went hunting after school. But I never once saw a gun in a school parking lot. I'm sure any one who brought one would have been told to take it home pronto. NOBODY took weapons to school. It seems obvious this is a giant exaggeration
