| | | Snow slides off my roof; I had a 3' high bank of it on the deck. I usually don't go outside until snow melts on its own, which is usually a few days. Usually gets melted by rain. The hills way off look different this year; much more snow. I think I'm looking at a burn from the big fire last year.

Last Wed was grocery delivery day, so I ran out of bread. Ran out of chocolate Ensure, which is back-up for my daily chocolate milk/hot cocoa fix. I would have run out of canned cat food today, but CCDriver, Bud's assistant, brought me a few cans of each, along with a few cans of soup, Fritos, and a bag of coffee beans I couldn't grind. I keep a stash of ground for times like this, so I was OK.
I cooked a lot of pots of oat meal and canned soup, chili, stew, and spaghetti on a camping stove. |
