dram is a gen'l term that can be reasonably used to mean all kinds
of (edo, sync, static etc.) dram. the s is the adjective. since you
leave off adjectives that would clarify any potential ambiguity,

DRAM is not a general term execpt to the author of the LEHMAN report and maybe some others who are ignorant of memory products. I think Lehman may have been ignorant of what numbers that should be used, since his $3.05 can be derived by using SMITHS last two months for DRAM almost to the penny...but if he would have known that SDRAM is different and certainly more significant he would have seen that it is priced at $4.00 to $4.25 the last two months yielding close to $4.00 asp for 16mb chips.

This is why I keep stressing the distinction between DRAM and SDRAM when determining memory prices because ALL MEMORY SITES WE USE
price DRAM and SDRAM separately.

DRAM may have been generalized last year but it is definitely not a general term anymore, but rather an absolutey different product.

Mike knows this but definitely plays with numbers to play down the MU view. Somehow he thinks it will help his foolish OUT-OF-MONEY PUTS
to show a profit by expiration.
