Hankuk has their own unique process for curing film, in the order of
seconds, like Research Frontier's patent UV cure. This is according to Pat Bryant at RF. In fact, Hankuk was granted a patent on their process about a year ago. This was done after spending 2 million dollars on R&D for process development of switchable film. There should be no reason for Hankuk to change their process if speed and cost of curing film is about the same. Whatever Hankuk's time table is, REFR's anouncement should not put it off track. Material Science can also speed up their process by using REFR's UV cure method if they chose to.
