The miscibility of nonsense
or
How many kinds of crazy

I saw this line in a recent message and it struck my Libertarian chord deeply.
<<“How the hell did Sidney get in the building?”>>
Sidney is Ms. Powell who is being sued by Dominion, the building was the Whitehouse.
I gather that her type of crazy didn't mix well with the Giuliani and the Trump type of crazy.
All these types of crazy fall well short of any Libertarian ideal like ponies for all.
Many Republican voters are not happy now that they are being asked to accept Space Lasers.
Apparently that type of nonsense which is highly regarded fact for Hawley et al is too much for some.
They would rather leave the GOP than accept a few space lasers, they could use a pony or two.


I wonder how much nonsense people are willing to accept.
The attackers at the Capitol are now clearly defined by the nonsense they spouted during and before.
The cost of acting on the nonsense they believe should be high, life in prison for a few will happen.
Serious criminal records, the murder of Capitol defenders, none of it penetrates to the deluded.
It is pretty clear that the financial cost of lying is going to be very high for many of the insane.
These are civil suits where the burden of proof is lower, the repeated lies are well documented.
The election fraud trials already conducted represent a complete spectrum of attempts at introducing crazy.
Giuliani and Powell are both going to pay for trying to introduce lies and nonsense, repeatedly.
Smartmatic will get a lot of money from Fox, it promises to be very entertaining.
And Fox is all about entertainment, it will make a good series, "60 Million Dollars In".
If you are a Proud Boy you are now a terrorist in Canada, "no fly" for you.
The cost of believing nonsense is going to get prohibitive.
Do you think the Space Laser Republicans are going to start some more fires?
