BB you're supposed to be buying the bottle for me.....
Also on the bullishness business. In fact I was brought up to be a gold hogging bear... the problem is that the cirumstances to do not warrant it. i agree that looking at the past to see what might happen in the future is often the way to go. but every once in a while an event comes along that allows humanity to revolutionize the way it conducts its business. The industrial revolution made it posible for a few (relatively) workers to produce goods for the masses and led to a extreme inequality of waelth that has been a historic drain on consumption. The digital revolution will dramatically increase the peoples access to knowledge and increase the wealth of our society exponentially. It will also redistribute wealth as knowledge is more fairly distributed, and thereby provide greater efficencies in consumption and therefore greater economic and political stability. In the past year I have searched out other co's that represent this scenario better than amat, and I am convinced they do not exist. In my mind there are only two kinds of investments that makes sense. The AMAT's of this world and the Time Warners of this world. One creates the machines that make the commodities. the other makes somthing of it. The rest is more or less a commodity business and in a commodity business all that matters is prices and margin's are for ####.... huge generalisations.... I know.... terrible grammer... i'm sorry... but its sunday night and I'm having fuuuun and am looking forward to more.
