Larry Summers is right and his concept was proven from all other regimes by the Nazi Regimes that took out Germany from the brink of collapse due to the idiotic UK insistence they should pay for damages of WWI.

That is the main reason that so many Germans where lead to believe of being a “superior race” to others, as they were in front of a deadly abys with inflation growing from morning to same day afternoon.

There are many venues to generate a new prosperity by re-education and re-training of the even 40+ employees to be highly productive as they in general are more dedicated than the 30 something.

Infrastructure and a transition to a greener economy would generate tens of millions of new well-paying jobs, and the result will pay off quite fast within 5 to 7 years which is a great return on investment. AI and Machine learning will be of great assistance in this process.

What is needed is a smart administration vertically integrated and well educated which I am afraid the US present administration cannot provide mostly due to political resentment and infighting.

What must be achieved from an economic point of view is a fast recovery, as this administration should work as one monolith with a strong believes in the “greatness” of the New Recovery, and stop the bi partisan bickering which sounds a bit utopian but maybe after 4 dysfunctional administration some miracle will happen.
