Del, maybe I'm confused. Are you still insisting that this statement makes sense?

<<If the exchange was between Russia and the U.S., for example, the people in China and India would barely know what happened. Remember that we once did above ground nuclear testing. Would you have known when they happened if they weren't reported. This Earth is huge and is quite forgiving. >>>

Del, I don't believe anyone knows for absolute certainty if ALL human life anywhere on the planet would not be able to survive above ground in the event of a nuclear attack. But it's sure a whole like more likely they wouldn't, then they would.

But to suggest that the people in China and India would barely know what happened if the United States and Russia had a Nuclear war is absolutely rediculous!

I do know something about Nuclear Weapons and their capabilities.

As for your other spiteful comments regarding Rush Limbaugh. I don't know what brought that on. We have had this debate about Global Warming before. To suggest there isn't controversy regarding the science involved in determining the effects of Global Warming is to willfully have your head planted in the sand.

The last decade it was Global Cooling, this decade it's Global Warming.

If you think that 7 billion dollars coming out of our taxpayers pockets is going to have one ioto of an effect on Global Warming one way or another your dreaming.

I hope the Congress, like they have had to do since 92 rips that bloated budget to shreds and keeps the deficit going down until it's a surplus for another decade or two.

This is the same Administration who said the Republicans would starve children if we balanced the budget by the year 2002! Remember??

You can't have it both ways Del. If you truly believe this budget would be getting close to balance if we still had a Democratic Congress, I guess you just choose to ignore the past 25 years of history.

Michael
