Stagnant economy with rising structural unemployment dependent on government, supply chain issues, huge annual deficits, near record debt to GDP both public and private debt, open borders to the south and China in control again to the west, soon to lose our strong position of energy independence, and substantial rise in cost of doing business via regulations and taxes, asset bubbles everywhere dependent on piling on the debt via ZIRP forever to keep them propped up cover operating expenses and debt service. What can go wrong here? Good news is banks in strong position until they have to start foreclosing after taking a year off..
