"Seasoned professionals" don't willy nilly kill 10s of thousands of jobs on the first day in office out of spite for one's predecessor.

You have long framed every action contrary to Trump as out to get Trump. Here you frame an action as spiteful and childish. You continue to impute ugly motives to every action. You may thing in terms of them and us where them's every motive is all about undoing Trump. If a determination goes against Trump, there cannot possibly be an objective, rational basis for it.

That's a sickness.

I don't much like the pipeline decision, either. Let me say that again. I don't much like the pipeline decision, either. I'm sure I won't like quite a few of Biden's decisions.

But the pipeline has long been contentious and its lifeline went back and forth and back and forth like a tug of war. Biden's base is against the pipeline. They have reasons. Under those circumstances it is not in any way unexpected or unreasonable that he would flip the pipeline's determination back in their favor. If there's any spite involved, it's a flourish, not the essence.
