it is not entirely clear if HDD can continue to maintain cost advantage over SSD Cost advantage is not what is driving HDD in the enterprise. It is legacy infrastructure, dependent on HDD, that does so. There are multiple operating systems that are less expensive the Microsoft Windows, but the cost of switch from Windows is prohibitive, there are many dependencies, and a switch create additional cost and increased risk. Momentum wins.
