Patriot-

Definitely Feb or Mar 20 calls. Buying near-term calls (like Feb)are normally death, but in a positively trending climate (which may be determined over the next 2-3 days) the rewards can be magnificent. I just re-examined the PAIR chart and stand by my position that if PAIR does not break 18 in the next two days. For example, down -5/16 Mon, +5/8 Tues then the likelihood of a breakout later in the week in high enough to justify purchase of near-term calls. (I am not necessarily recommending OPTIONS for others)

I agree that the Asian crisis will mitigate any big runs, the extent to which this will occur is unclear at this point. Many techs bounced off bottoms last week and are starting to show life. If they can continue gains this week (INTC & AMAT & QNTM are prime examples) then I think this bodes very well for the tech sector in general and specifically for stocks likes PAIR which may just need a little help
in breaking out now that earnings season has passed.

If the NAZ closes below 1600, then, in my book, all bets are off. I will become a bear.

Happy Investing!
