OK. Here’s the thing.

It’s worse.

She doesn’t believe the things she says. She admits it. She admitted it to the mother of one of the murdered school children.

We’re told that she ‘fessed up last night during the GOP House picnic, where she stood up, spoke for a couple minutes, disavowed the crazy conspiracies, and then received a standing ovation.

She says these things in order to separate herself out from the crowd of other wannabes. To get attention. Has always done. Right from 9/11. All the way up. When Trump pounced on the Birther thing, she was all up in it too. And the moon landing thing; the JFK thing; the JFK Jr. thing; and every new thing that Alex Jones and others could make up out of thin air; like the Jewish lasers thing. The more fantastic the better. She’d want to wiggle in. And so she did.

Nothing was too nutso. She realized that if she said these things louder than everybody else that the world would pay attention to her. She went in front of cameras. She went on social media. Chased young boys down the street. Refused to wear a mask in a Capitol under attack.

She says fuck you and not sorry.

And she does it knowingly. Cynically.

To gain the spotlight. She thinks to herself “Who knows what will come of it. I may even get a seat in Congress. I could even be on a committee of some sort if I play my cards right. Who knows where I could end up?!”
