Epoxy primer is the best primer out there, most durable and sticks to anything. Maybe we should move this to car talk. Yes being a body man, you have to fabricate panels if replacements are not available, it is very satisfying but very hard on your health. Most of the stuff we use is very toxic. My hands were never 100% clean; they always had paint, primer or other staining chemicals on them, and used lacquer thinner to wash my hands.
