FWIW, I have been watching the Youtube videos on Mid-West farming operations. It is incredible what the new machines can do, tracking fertilizer inputs specific to soil/water types (from drone and satellite data), automatic planting and harvesting technologies and new seed hybrids to maximize production based on soil types (etc). I do hear from the old time farmers that their tractors have software lock outs if/when they do their own maintenance. Many of the farmers like to do their own upgrades and are constrained in doing some of those repairs as it may violate their manufacture terms. The last 5 years have seen significant productivity increases and I expect more in the future. FWIW, AGCO trading at an all time high too. last $122.16/share +2% EKS
