I do not have the photo capturing the moments, by when daughter at age 15 last year puzzled over what son at 9 discovered on my bookshelf, they together puzzled over how the items could possibly have worked, and both arrived at the Google search.

As the phone had been adapted for rotary-to-dial-tone conversion I was able to demonstrate how it actually worked. Seemed like black magic to the kids.

I was unable to conveniently get film for the camera.

I did capture the moment Jack discovered ice cream. He had always thought yogurt was ice cream before that time. Daughter’s big discovery was the backpack baby carrier. Seemed like miracles.
