John> What is the surprise the client is always free.

Last I checked, Windows NT Server goes at $800 for the
first 5 client licenses and $40 for each additional client
thereafter. There are similar client charges for SQL server.
If Oracle8 server comes with free OS, that's a good price
advantage over SQL Server, and for a better product..

Edward> I think were overbought right now...

Actually we are in agreement.
I said there should be more upside before the earnings in March.
Didn't say there wouldn't be profit taking in the short term.

Zen> good news, stock at $23+. Bad news, stock at $17+..

I think it's typical for tech stocks.
If you think ORCL is bad, take a look at the 5 years chart for NSCP,
COMS, SUNW, just to name a few. ORCL has been climbing very steadily
since the big crash in early 90s.. until recently. I think there's
a lot more short term interest in ORCL nowadays.

Kev
