So someone in power, let us call him "Blackrock", decides teaching Judeo Christian ethics and beliefs to children is just wrong. And Blackrock just knows he is smarter that everyone else. So old Blackrock installs surveillance equipment in every home in the nation and hires a staff of thousands to monitor that equipment. Everyone who has the audacity to instruct their children the forbidden ancient tracts is rounded up and sent to reeducation camps until they "turn over a new leaf". The children are raised by the state. Now replace "Judeo Christian ethics and beliefs" with "hate and intolerance". Or "Constitution". Or "Bill of Rights". Or "individual freedom". Or "thinking for oneself". Old Blackrock's work is done.
